10 Stages to Repair
Having a motoring accident can be a distressing and frustrating time for all involved.
Here at Xclusive Bodyworks we put our experience and expertise to use to ensure your vehicle is returned to you, in its pre-accident condition, with the minimum of inconvenience, distress and delay in a professional and courteous manner.
Stage 1
Our trained claims handlers will contact you to arrange an estimate
They will organize the urgent collection of your vehicle if its not drivable
If it can drive, a convenient time and date for you to call in for an estimate
Our mobile estimating team to visit your home/work to carry out an inspection
A comprehensive estimate will be produced and sent direct to your insurance company.
Stage 2
Once in receipt of the estimate the insurance company will agree the repair process and authorise us to proceed with the repairs. This will normally be within 3-4 days.
Some insurance companies will not allow repairers to commence work without written authority, so this may cause a short delay between your vehicle arriving with us and the work commencing.
Other insurers will allow repairs under a certain value to commence immediately.
Should the estimated cost of repairs be close to the current market value of your vehicle the insurance company may choose to send a field engineer to assess the vehicle before authorising repairs or deeming it a total loss.
